Hello beloved,
Continue to ask yourself daily, besides the work we do together:
Does this action support my self care? Does this action help me to feel more loving toward myself?
I hope your journal prompts from yesterday already have you feeling on path.
I promise that when you stick with those, especially for one month straight, you will be feeling real good about this work. You'll know yourself better, and in that- there is inherent love.
Truly, there is no "bandwagon" of "on" or "off."
You are on, my dear.
You are so on.
We're on the path of really getting to know you in your soul.
A very important piece in that is making sure you get the best night of sleep ever! When you do, you are able to show up for yourself and for life in the day in a different way.
You know it is easy to go to sleep watching TV, or sending text messages, but there is power in a deeply nourishing self-care sleep time.
Today's ritual is all about getting the best night of sleep ever.
When we get a really nourishing night of sleep, we wake up energized and excited for the day ahead.
We are able to process our thoughts, feelings, emotions, and even our foods better when we are well rested.
We give the body and the mind a chance to fully let go.
Sleep is actually an elevated anabolic state, a state which builds you up- heightening the growth and rejuvenation of the immune, skeletal, and muscular systems. Basically, sleep rebuilds you and keeps you youthful. If you ever thought you were getting strong in the gym, you were slightly wrong. You actually get strong as you sleep, way after the workout happens in the first place.
High quality sleep improves your immune system, balances your hormones, boosts your metabolism, relaxes digestive function, and improves the function of your brain.
Watch the video, and learn really simple and effective rituals for your bed time routine.
Helpful Reminders..
-- Sleep naked, or at least in something sexy, organic, and loose!
-- Turn off electronics
-- Cleanse your physical body
-- Cleanse the room
-- Do your journaling!
You can also..
-- Stretch or move your body.
-- Put your feet up the wall like this. This helps reduce any sort of stress or anxiety and its a place where you can easily breathe into your chest. It calms the mind and gets your body ready to sleep.
-- Try having a caffeine curfew. Caffeine is a powerful nervous system stimulant. If your nervous system is lit up, you can forget about getting high quality sleep. If you drink coffee, make it before 2pm, so that your adrenals have a chance to rest and reset before bed.
-- Be COOL: Something called thermoregulation strongly influences your body’s sleep cycles. When it’s time for your body to rest, there is an automatic drop in your core body temperature to help initiate sleep. If the temperature in your environment stays too high, then it can be a bit of a physiological challenge for your body to get into the ideal state for restful sleep. Studies have found that the ideal room temperature for sleep is around 68 degrees Fahrenheit. Anything above 75 or below 54 will likely cause some difficulty sleeping.
-- Create a sleep sanctuary. Stop making your bedroom the entertainment hub of your house. And NEVER bring work to bed with you. If you create the environment where miscellaneous activities can take place in your sleep area, you are not creating a mental correlation that it’s time to sleep when you go in here.
-- Oooooooooooo, the big o, orgasm baby feel good... Having an orgasm is like a full-on sedative for most people. There’s a rush of relaxing hormones and endorphins when you release, and it’s just the thing to set you up for a great nights sleep. And you don't need a partner/lover for this one. Is there resistance for you here??
Some resources..
-- Sage! You can definitely find it at WholeFoods, but here is a link if you want to order some online. This particular one is meant for epic dreams...Yum!
-- Lavender Essential Oil: Lavenders main properties are calming- rub it behind your neck, on your pillow, or even massage some into your feet. I use the DoTerra brand (linked) because I think they are of the highest quality.
-- LongevityPower Levity: I absolutely love this product! It's a red asparagus root powder (that I swear tastes like toffee with some sweetener) that has the ability to calm us down and yet uplift us at the same time. I always have really epic dreams when I have a spoonful of this stuff in some tea before bedtime.
-- NaturalCALM: This is a Magnesium-based supplement that not only help you calm down and release stress, but helps you eliminate effectively in the morning.
What are you excited to add in to your bedtime routine??? How do you plan on getting the best night of sleep accessible to you- tonight?

Why she loves it:
This recipe brings me joy, energy, motivation and focus, and keeps me feeling charged. The “chai” spices support digestion, keeping me regulated, and the good and essential fats and fiber act like a coat to ensure a slow and steady flow of nutrients into the system.

Paradigm Shifter:
However you want to feel is already you.
Your core desired feelings, you already have.
What are your core desired feelings?
Ask yourself, how do I deeply desire to feel?
Open. Free. Confident. Beautiful. Radiant. Loved. Intelligent. Honest. Divine. Sexy. Soulful. Magnetic. In love. Trusting. Empowered. Nourished. Healthy. Strong. Intentional. Potent. Pure...
How do you want to feel?
Make a list of your core desired feelings.
All of those things that you just WISH you felt every day...
And then ask yourself these questions:::
(These questions require your inner knowing that you CAN, that you have the ABILITY, to truly feel how you want to feel. Knowing it is in reach.)
1. When do I NOT feel my core desired feelings?
2. What are five to ten experiences or accomplishments that will help me feel my core desired feelings?
3. Three things I will do today to generate these feelings are:
4. Three things I will do this week to generate these feelings are:
Essentially, we're playing a game called Act As If.
My example...
My core desired feelings (today/now):
Radiant. Alive. Sexy. Grounded. Powerful. Impactful.
-- I don't feel these core desired feelings when I am not moving in my body for a long time... when I eat too quickly, when I don't take time to connect my body to the earth, when I overeat, when I don't get out of my comfort zone, and when I stop believing in myself/sharing my voice.
-- To feel my core desired feelings I can wear clothing that feels good for me, do my yoga practice in the morning, practice self-pleasure, connect with my lover, try something new and exciting, get sunshine on my skin, and share my message unapologetically to attract more clients to help guide their way.
-- Three things I will do today to generate these feelings: Eat slowly, walk on the beach, and write an email to share my truth.
-- Three things I will do this week to generate these feelings: Go to a new mountain to go for a hike and play in nature, dance, and stay extremely present with everyone in my life.
COMMIT TO YOUR CORE DESIRED FEELINGS.
After writing these questions out in your journal, simply write:
I commit to feeling ______, ________, and ____________.
Your commitment, paired with your action steps, create these feelings that you so desire within yourself TODAY.
What are your core desired feelings? How will you make yourself feel today?
With super sexy self care and all my love,
Groovy Girl
