Welcome to day 18!!!
I hope you identified your pleasures and realized how you may have been holding them back from yourself.. maybe even just a tad bit!
Hmm.. time to give them to yourself daily!
Today, I'll ask you this: do you know how powerful your own body is?
With the right technique, your body can regenerate, heal, transform, and repair itself.
Todays ritual is a little detoxification technique I personally learned in my yoga teacher training. The moment that it was taught, I was hooked on practicing. I know how powerful it truly is.
Today I'm going to teach you Nauli Criya, an exercise to move and flow your own colon!
Since we are working on confidence so much, and the home for confidence really sits in our core, our belly, we need ways of tuning the colon and feeling really free there.
So many of my clients experience digestive complaints.
I also spent years healing my own digestive system.
There are so many things we can do to feel better in the colon... without the bloating, gas, and indigestion... and this is a ritual that sits right there.
Known as belly churning, nauli kriya is a cleansing technique, best done early in the morning, that helps improve digestion or poor blood circulation in the belly.
Useful Tips...
-- Practice Nauli 1-4 times a week. It can be intense and stimulating, so just listen to your body and practice when it feels right.
-- Nauli is NOT for pregnant women, menstruating women, stomach ulcers, anyone with recent gastrointestinal surgeries, or someone with high blood pressure.
-- Practice makes perfect!
Some Resources...
These are some belly saving resources.
If you experience bloating or indigestion, then these few things you may want to give a try.
Most everyone has a bit of a sluggish digestive system due to stress and lifestyle factors, which is why I included these guys in here for you as well!
-- Digestive Bitters: stimulate stomach acid needed to digest food, take a swig with some water before a meal.
-- Digestive Enzymes: necessary to assimilate and break down food! Usually we need more...
-- Probiotics: my favorite way to get the probiotics in is through coconut yogurt... so get excited for tomorrows video...

Paradigm Shifter:
Challenge your food fears.
Make a list of all the foods that you classify as “good” and all the ones that you classify as “bad.”
Know that there are no such things as good and bad foods. Food is neutral, it is always up to us to give meaning to these foods, or not. When we label a food as bad we desire it more and suppress body wisdom.
Eat something that you once classified as “bad” or “wrong.”
Maybe it’s cooked food for you- potatoes or rice or something.
Maybe it’s an organic egg.
Maybe it’s coconut ice cream.
What is your favorite meal?
What is something that you absolutely love but never let yourself eat because of restriction?
Get it or make it and enjoy every minute of it.
You deserve to enjoy food!
Sometimes we get into strict dietary dogmas and end up feeling like we’re in some self-imposed box.
Step out of your box.
Be brave.
Try something you wouldn’t normally try.
Just stay mindful about how you feel and be fully present with yourself! Leave guilt at the door.
Seriously let there be no guilt involved.
Do it for pleasure.
Enjoy the smells, the textures, the tastes.
Fully engage all of your sense and enjoy something that you once classified as ‘bad.’
It’s a really good practice to do this at least once every couple of days if not every day if you are releasing a lot of food fears.
Plus, it’s fun- and delicious!
Let go. Enjoy.
With super sexy self care and all my love,
Groovy Girl 🦋
