There is a force in pleasure.
True pleasure that is.
Creating happiness in your life IS self care.
Today you're going to identify your true vs. false pleasures and commit to those true ones you know you need.
We honestly, as women, are taught to feel shame around pleasure.
Especially when it comes to the two best things in life: sex and food.
If we honor our desires for both of these things, and know that we need pleasure to feel good within, and that pleasure is A PART of self-care, we come to give ourselves pleasure in a new way.
What do you truly LOVE to do?
What fills your mind, body, heart, and soul on fire?
What activities, hobbies, or moments can you think of that truly feel pleasurable to you?
True pleasure is consistent. It feels like a whole fulfillment. It has a relaxed sense to it. True pleasure is stress relieving, and it doesn’t turn around leaving you feeling worse. It’s true satisfaction. A couple examples of this true pleasure: eating mindfully, lighting candles, taking a bath, emotionally-connected and mindful sex, practicing yoga, painting, going on a date, eating a meal with friends...
False pleasures may originally make you feel good. They’re fast, like a quick jolt of happiness. But, they ultimately make you feel worse. A couple examples of this false pleasure: overeating, smoking, taking drugs, having emotionally-detached-sex.
Today, I want you to identify some TRUE and FALSE pleasures in your life, and then commit to doing at least one of the true pleasures today, and at least 3 for the rest of the week.

Plant-powered recipe of the day:
RAW MINT CHIP ICE CREAM!
in the name of pleasure...
Ingredients
2 cups ice
4 tbsp tocos -- The brand I use is called Tocos Plus, and the ONLY place I have been able to find them is on Thrive Market.
1 cup spinach
1 tbsp cacao nibs
1 tsp greens powder, I used Body Ecology powder, but you can use your favorite!
½ cup fresh coconut meat or full fat coconut milk or yogurt
1/2-1 frozen banana
stevia, to taste
pinch salt
1 tbsp lucuma
1 tsp vanilla
1 drop peppermint essential oil
Instructions
Add ice to blender first. Add the rest of the ingredients, and then use the tamper to blend it until its fully combined. You will most likely need to scrape the sides and then blend some more!
Top it with cacao nibs or chocolate chips and enjoy!
