Welcome to day 14, lady!!!
Did you reflect on something coming up for you?
How have you been feeling?
Since you've been here for two weeks, check in and ask yourself:
How are you feeling today compared to how you were feeling when you started this journey? No judgement, here! Just ask.
Okay, so... I don't have a video for you today, but in my opinion, something way better.
Today calls for a sexy, sensual soul playlist.
You know how certain music makes you happy?
Certain music makes you gloomy.
Certain music makes you feel energetic.
Certain music can make you ready to party.
Certain music can also make you feel really yummy in your own skin.
Sensual music, female vocals, and sexy tunes.
When we feel our sensuality, we feel feminine, and we feel way more free, because babe, this is how we were supposed to feel!
Embodied. Sensual. Sexy. Beautiful.
When we don't feel our sensuality and our sexuality, we can begin to feel numb... we start to feel uncomfortable within.
That's not why you are here.
You are here to amp up your self care and your self love, and there was a reason I called it "sexy".....
Today I want you to create a music playlist that you can play at any time that will produce that vibrant free-flowing sensuality within you- or at least get it runnin’!
There truly are certain songs that have a really sexy vibration to them.
Once you create your playlist, (or turn mine on), try turning the lights off, lighting a candle, and just moving to your music. Get into your body in this sensual way.
Sway your hips. Get on your bed and roll around a bit.
Touch yourself if you dare.
Feel how gorgeous are are, now.
Feel the music, feel your body, and just breathe in how you are TODAY.
Helpful Reminders..
-- Just like during our first dance experience, forget what you look like! Allow the music to penetrate your body, and allow your body to move in whichever way she pleases. Even if you just sway your hips. Listen. Listen. Listen!
Plant-powered recipe of the day:
BAKED HERB FALAFEL WITH TZATZIKI SAUCE ON LETTUCE WRAPS
Ingredients
FALAFEL BALLS:
3 cups cooked chickpeas (page 15)
1 cup parsley
1/4 cup cilantro (coriander)
1 yellow onion, roughly chopped
1/4 red capsicum, roughly chopped
1 medium zucchini, roughly chopped
8 garlic cloves (about 1 bulb of garlic)
1 lemon, juiced
1 Tbsp ground cumin
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp ground coriander
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup chickpea (garbanzo/besan) flour
TZATZIKI SAUCE:
1 cup cashews or macadamias, soaked 3 - 8 hours
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup coconut yogurt (optional)
1 lemon, juiced
1 clove garlic
1/2 tsp salt
1 medium cucumber
1/4 cup parsley
Instructions
1. In a food processor combine all the falafel ingredients except for the chickpea flour. Pulse to process into a chunky, finely chopped texture. Add the chickpea flour and pulse to combine.
2. Empty the mixture into a bowl and set aside in the fridge for several hours (this will make it easier to form balls).
3. Meanwhile, make the tzatziki sauce. Peel the cucumber and slice it in half length ways. Use a spoon to scoop out the seeds from the center into the blender. Thinly slice the cucumber, so you have thin half moon shapes and set aside.
4. Add the cashews, water, lemon juice, garlic clove, salt and coconut yogurt to the blender with the cucumber seeds. Blend on high until smooth.
5. Add the parsley and pulse gently until its chopped.
6. Add the cucumber slices and gently pulse a few times to break it into slightly smaller pieces - don’t over blend as you still want some slices of cucumber.
7. Preheat the oven to 175°C / 350°F. Prepare two baking trays with parchment paper.
8. Roll the falafel into balls slightly smaller than golf balls or disk shapes and lay on the parchment paper.
9. Bake for 20 minutes, then flip the falafel balls, swap the trays and bake for another 20 minutes.
Today's recipe is brought to you by Shae from Hello Wellness. From Shae: At 21-years-young I was diagnosed with celiac disease. My health in a steady decline and with traditional western medicine having no solutions to offer me, I took charge of my own health and entered the embracing arms of holistic wellness.
Today I’m on a mission to make wellness your number one priority. Wellness not just in the sense of drinking green juice and exercising, but also happiness, fun, freedom and peace – because let’s face it, both of them are inextricably linked and essential to living an awesome life.
Paradigm Shifter:
Connect with your sensuality to connect with your beautiful feminine body.
In your sensuality and sexuality lies your key to complete confidence and radiance within your own skin.
One of the easiest ways to know your deepest self and feel bliss within and without is by connecting to your pleasure as a woman.
Connect with your own sensuality by...
-- Dancing/moving/listening to this sensual soul playlist
-- Being naked more... tan naked if possible!
-- Buying sexy lingerie
-- Connecting intimately and authentically with your partner
-- Going to a pole class
-- Wearing clothing that actually feels good and doesn't cut off your circulation!
-- Exploring the Jade Egg and a Jade Pleasure practice or just self pleasure yourself in a loving, connected, and beautiful way... (I highly recommend the Jade Egg to do so, and specifically learning how to do so from a master in that field such as Layla Martin!) I wish I could highlight this tab a zillion times, by the way. Game. Changer.
-- Anything that you feel brings out your sensual soul!
Ask yourself::
What makes me feel most sensual? Feminine? Intimate? Sexual? Yummy?
With super sexy self care and all my love,
Groovy Girl 🦋
