Write your intention in the present tense. Like this:

“I am so happy and grateful now that I have booked my dream client and feel so aligned in my business.”

Repeat it:

• 3x in the morning

• 6x at midday

• 9x before bed

Write out 5 limiting beliefs you catch yourself thinking.

Then affirm:

“My desires are clear. I surrender the how. I trust divine timing. I am already whole.”

Meet your new obsession: tofu bathed in luscious vegan mayo, laced with black salt (kala namak) for that irresistible “eggy” aroma.

🖤 Let’s get one thing straight: black salt isn’t your average table shaker.
It’s a sulfur-rich mineral that smells like sin but transforms bland tofu into something devilishly convincing. Funky before the mix, magic after. It’s the star of the show and worth it to consider adding it to your vegan kitchen!

Ingredients:

• 1 block firm tofu, pressed

• 1/4 cup vegan mayo

• 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

• 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice

• 1/4 tsp turmeric (for that yolk glow)

• 1/2 tsp black salt (kala namak), or to taste

• 2 green onions, chopped

• 1 stalk celery, finely diced

• 1 tbsp fresh dill or parsley (optional)

• Black pepper to taste

• Paprika, for garnish (if you're feeling spicy!)

Steps:

1. Crumble or dice tofu (your preference; I like it diced) into a mixing bowl; think yummy chunks, not mush.

2. In a separate bowl, whisk mayo, mustard, vinegar/lemon juice, turmeric, and black salt into a silky dressing.

3. Merge dressing with tofu. Fold it in like foreplay: slow, thorough, and with intent.

4. Mix in your veggies, herbs, and a pinch of pepper.

5. Chill for at least 30 minutes. Patience, it intensifies.

6. Taste. Adjust that kala namak if you want. A little goes a long way.

It isn’t something we learn to “DO”.

It is something we take ownership of… as something we HAVE BEEN DOING.

My intuition has always led me to listen to others who have built a powerful relationship with manifestation, to be curious and open-minded about how they understood it, and utilized that understanding for themselves, AND then run those understandings through my own awareness, understanding, and process…

I felt a deep knowing that the key wasn’t to try to duplicate what I was hearing… but rather to cultivate my unique understanding of it all so it could “be correct” for me… so I would never lose myself in someone else’s way of thinking.

I made sure to ask myself: what is my opinion, what are my thoughts, what adjustments feel necessary to be made here for this to be mine?

I believe manifestation is a complex discussion that unfolds over a person’s lifetime. I don’t know that it’s possible to simply learn techniques and then manifest a house, a boat, a car…

My intuition has always felt that this is actually about our individual understanding of the relationship we have with ourselves, with spirit, the divine, the unknown…

And that magic manifests throughout the path of that understanding…

Plant-Powered Recipe of the Day: Golden Milk

Golden Milk for 2

• 1 ½ tsp ground Turmeric or 2 tablespoons grated Turmeric root

• 1/4 tsp ground Ginger or 1 teaspoon freshly grated Ginger (optional)

• 1 tablespoon Coconut Oil or Almond Oil

• 1 pinch ground Black Pepper (activates the curcumin in turmeric!)

• 3 cups "Milk" of your choice

• Sweetener of choice (NOT optional)

1. In a medium pot on the stove add the Turmeric, Ginger, Black pepper, and Oil.

2. Stir over medium-low heat for 7 minutes while you think of something nice.

3. Once you can smell the spice mixture, add milk. Whisk to combine.

4. Simmer on medium-low until it almost boils. Nut milks will separate if you boil them.

5. Turn off the heat.

6. Add sweetener. Stir until the sweetener melts and blends in.

7. Strain and serve in tea cups.

   

   
   Turmeric has lots of health benefits, and is mostly known for reducing inflammation!

Paradigm Shift

If you lose your way on your entrepreneurial journey and forget why you started, it can very soon become empty and meaningless.

If you get caught up in the numbers and make it about validation and pride rather than deep gratitude and celebration… you may end up going against yourself, your spirit, your alignment…

This work requires a constant checking-in if you are truly here for heart-centered reasons…

Plant-Powered Recipe of the Day: Spicy Edamame

Ingredients:

• 2 cups edamame (frozen or fresh)

• 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

• 2 cloves garlic, minced

• 1 teaspoon grated ginger

• 2 tablespoons soy sauce

• 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)

• 1 teaspoon sesame oil

• 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

• 1 green onion, thinly sliced (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

1. If using frozen edamame, cook them according to the package instructions (aka microwave ‘em!). If using fresh edamame, boil them in lightly salted water for about 5 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.

2. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.

3. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

4. Add the cooked edamame to the skillet and toss to coat them in the garlic and ginger mixture.

5. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sriracha sauce, and sesame oil.

6. Pour the sauce mixture over the edamame in the skillet. Stir well to evenly distribute the sauce.

7. Continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the edamame are heated through and well coated in the spicy sauce.

8. Remove from heat and transfer the spicy edamame to a serving dish.

9. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish.

10. Serve the spicy edamame as an appetizer or snack. They are delicious both warm and at room temperature.

When I celebrate myself for simply showing up, resting, and for both big and small wins in my business and life, it helps me to...

• honors my body and my labor.

• make the process soooo much fun. Every step of the way gets to be pleasurable!!!

  

  Because if we stay in it long enough, we will win. We will get the results we want.

When I go at a pace that honors my nervous system's capacity, I not only get the results I want, but I am able to repeat the results I want again and again...

I see this difference help people go from 10K launches and not being able to sell anything again for 6 months to having recurring 10K months, every single month!

What else happens when we don't celebrate every step of the way?

We forget how to do it altogether!

I can't tell you how many times I've seen people get the results they want and they still aren't happy or relaxed.

They haven't celebrated at all before they move onto the next thing.

Or they move onto the next before getting the results they want with the first project...because they aren't celebrating and seeing that it is actually working.

But it's not their fault...

Capitalism teaches us scarcity and sexism teaches us to play small. That celebrating is bragging which is egotistical and unsafe. That we must not brag or our ego will get too big and all of our success will be taken away. That it's unsafe to be big in front of others because we will lose connection and community.

Well, my love, you can't be too big for me.

You can't be too successful.

You can't have too much pleasure.

Journal Prompt: Brag to Yourself

Plant-Powered Recipe of the Day:

Vegan Chana Masala

Here's a recipe for Vegan Chana Masala, a popular Indian dish made with chickpeas and aromatic spices:

Ingredients:

• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

• 1 large onion, finely chopped

• 3 cloves of garlic, minced

• 1-inch piece of ginger, grated

• 1 green chili pepper, finely chopped (optional, adjust to taste)

• 1 teaspoon ground cumin

• 1 teaspoon ground coriander

• 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric

• 1/2 teaspoon paprika

• 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to desired spiciness)

• 1 can (14 oz/400g) diced tomatoes

• 2 cans (15 oz/425g each) chickpeas, rinsed and drained

• 1 cup vegetable broth or water

• 1 teaspoon garam masala

• Juice of 1/2 lemon

• Salt, to taste

• Fresh cilantro leaves, for garnish

Instructions:

1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until it becomes soft and translucent.

2. Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, and chopped green chili pepper (if using). Sauté for another minute until fragrant.

3. Add the ground cumin, ground coriander, ground turmeric, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Stir well to coat the onion mixture with the spices. Cook for about 1-2 minutes to toast the spices.

4. Add the diced tomatoes to the skillet, along with their juices. Cook for a few minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tomatoes break down and form a thick sauce.

5. Add the rinsed and drained chickpeas to the skillet, followed by the vegetable broth or water. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.

6. Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and let the Chana Masala simmer for about 15-20 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together. If the mixture appears too dry, you can add a little more vegetable broth or water.

7. Stir in the garam masala and lemon juice. Taste and adjust the salt according to your preference.

8. Continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes to heat through and ensure the chickpeas are well-coated in the flavorful sauce.

9. Remove from heat. Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves.

10. Serve the vegan Chana Masala with steamed rice, naan bread, or roti. It also pairs well with fresh cucumber slices or a side salad.

I know that may be hard to believe, especially since there are many more examples of money being tied to exploitation than not.

Capitalism muddles money.

But money and capitalism are not the same.

Money is an exchange. It’s just a marker of what we value and how much we value it. 

Even if you can get on board with seeing that money and capitalism are not the same thing, it doesn’t make all of your money woes go away.

Whether we are conscious of it or not, the environment and culture we grew up in, aka our parents and/or caretakers and anyone directly influencing us from a young age, greatly impacts our beliefs about money. 

• How did your caretakers deal with money?

• What were their beliefs?

• What messages were they directly or indirectly sending to you?

Seeing money from an animistic lens has helped me separate it from capitalism, individualism, trauma, & guilt and do lots of money healing.

Making money and doing business from a place of collaboration, consent and integrity takes slowness, creativity and dreaming out of this world of quick fix extraction.

Another world is possible. 

When I ask folks on social media what their beliefs about money are, I get responses like 

“It’s the root of all evil”

“It only corrupts”

“There is never enough”

If we see money as a spirit but hold the above beliefs, do you think money is really going to want to hang around?

But let’s back up.

The first step in healing our money wounds is recognizing the problem is NOT personal. It’s systemic.

Capitalism and patriarchy are brutal systems. They have impacted our bodies, psyches and spirits for generations upon generations.

Women, femmes, raised working class or poor, most of us weren’t taught about how to make or manage money. And if you were raised catholic, like me, or even christian, you may have gotten the message that if you are just “good enough” then you will be provided for.

Which again leads to personal moral failure and guilt and shame if you end up broke. 

Well, let me say it again: the problem is not you. It’s way larger. It’s systemic.

The cool part?

WE, as individuals, get to choose and build culture together on how we want to show up now and in the future. How we want to respond to these broken systems.

Here is a long-form quote from Kelly Diels who describes a response to the systems of patriarchy and capitalism around us:

"It is essential that women and femmes and marginalized peoples – the identities marked in our culture to be the uncompensated or wildly undercompensated labourers propping up our economies and families – accumulate savings, net worth, and wealth. Essential.

Because the social safety net is in tatters and no guarantee and neither, frankly, is love. You can love people all you want and take care of them and there is no guarantee that they will love you back if you’re diagnosed with cancer and can’t work or get Alzheimer’s and need 24/7 care.

This is not just about retirement, our elder years, surviving illnesses and emergencies and being deserving or in need. We don’t have to demonstrate overwhelming need to deserve to have money and resources.

This notion of deserving is a value that supports patriarchy and white supremacy. I believe we’ve internalized the cultural assumption that because we are not straight white men, we’re defective – which means we’ve got to compensate for that defect with becoming The Perfect Woman and with our endless labour. We earn and deserve resources only if we’ve met that criterion.

No.

Let’s assume that every human on this earth is deserving of a flourishing, abundant life and livelihood and a positive net worth. That’s our foundational notion.

When it comes to money, earning, wealth and net worth, let’s take ‘deserving’ and ‘worth it’ out of the equation."

From this feminist business framework, we always name the system issue, the bigger picture instead of shaming the individual.

But we don’t stop there.

If we did, it could lead to enabling and pessimism. That’s just not my cup of my tea. I’m here to create, experience pleasure and spread hope.

That’s why, instead, I find another step important:

Step 1: Name the systemic issue. Ie. capitalism and patriarchy.

Step 2: Ask yourself: How will I respond to it?

You can choose if you want to try and live an ascetic lifestyle.

Or you can choose to be a bossy bottom, participate but hate it the whole time.

Or you can choose a path of nuance, influencing culture, and knowing you are allowed to experience abundance.

You can choose the path of trusting yourself with money and power. And making badass feminist decisions from that place.

And maybe you don’t trust yourself right now.

But the thing is, trusting ourselves comes from feeling safe and it’s freaking hard to feel safe when are fighting just to survive and pay bills.

That’s why I kept coming back to talking about economic empowerment.

Thinking about everything wrong in the world? It is easier to support and change when you have money! You can donate money, give services away for free once you are booked, advocate for change by how you show up in the world.

Money gives us advocacy, choice, security.

Abundance is possible. Collaboration, transparency, agency and connection are all possible. 

Plant-Powered Recipe of the Day

Vegan-Tempeh BLT! (*option to add Avocado or real bacon!)

Ingredients:

• 8 slices of whole grain bread

• 8 oz (225g) tempeh, sliced into thin strips

• 2 tablespoons soy sauce

• 2 tablespoons maple syrup

• 1 tablespoon liquid smoke (optional)

• 4 lettuce leaves

• 2 tomatoes, sliced

• Vegan mayonnaise

• Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. In a shallow dish, mix together the soy sauce, maple syrup, and liquid smoke (if using).

3. Place the tempeh strips in the marinade and let them soak for about 10 minutes.

4. Arrange the marinated tempeh strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until crispy, flipping halfway through.

5. Toast the bread slices until golden brown.

6. Spread a layer of vegan mayonnaise on one side of each bread slice.

7. Assemble the sandwiches by layering the lettuce, tomato slices, and tempeh bacon on four slices of bread. Season with salt and pepper.

8. Top with the remaining bread slices and cut the sandwiches in half.

9. Serve and enjoy your vegan tempeh BLTs!

Traditional BLT with Regular Bacon:

Ingredients:

• 8 slices of bread (white, wheat, or your preference)

• 8 slices of bacon

• 4 lettuce leaves

• 2 tomatoes, sliced

• Mayonnaise

• Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the bacon slices until crispy. Transfer them to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease.

2. Toast the bread slices until golden brown.

3. Spread a layer of mayonnaise on one side of each bread slice.

4. Assemble the sandwiches by layering the lettuce, tomato slices, and bacon on four slices of bread. Season with salt and pepper.

5. Top with the remaining bread slices and cut the sandwiches in half.

6. Serve and enjoy your classic BLTs with regular bacon!

Whether you opt for the vegan tempeh version or the traditional bacon version, these BLTs are sure to be delicious and satisfying.
